I just got hired to work at my old military camp as a counselor this summer!
To say I’m excited doesn’t even begin to cover it!
My cadets will be participating in a lot of athletics with competitions and whatnot. I look forward to seeing them improve and gain self-confidence in themselves, and ultimately grow to be the strong young women I know them to be!
Since I will be a role model, it only makes since that I also be able to be up and running too! There is a 5K that the cadets and staff participate in…. meaning I MUST start training NOW!
This is where y’all come in: any motivation to keep going or kindness is appreciated! Heck, just do it for kicks and giggles!

Greek yogurt is a fantastic baking swap for butter- it makes these brownies rich and chocolaty, moist and fat free! I tried using it in my lighter Greek yogurt cupcakes and it worked so well I thought I’d give it a try with brownies too! You can make these in a traditional brownie pan but I love getting perfect brownies in cupcake tins- you get the gooey center and chewy edges on every piece! Mix and match whatever fruits, extract, nuts or anything else you like in your brownies, these are just a suggestion to get you started! (The mint were my favorite though!)
